Terms of Use

Last updated 6 September 2026

Souvenly turns a photo you choose into a keepsake. Creating one costs a credit. You own what you make. Using the app means agreeing to what follows.

1. The agreement

These terms are between you and Souvenly, the operator of the Souvenly app. Installing or using the app means you accept them. If you do not, do not use the app. You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough in your country to agree to a contract on your own.

2. What Souvenly does

You select a photo and a style. Our server sends that photo, with instructions for the style, to an image model that redraws it, and returns the artwork to your phone. The result is an interpretation, not an edit: it is a new image, and it will not be an exact reproduction of your photograph. Nothing about the result is guaranteed to be a particular thing, and two runs of the same photo will differ.

3. Credits

Every creation costs one credit. New installs get one free creation.

  • Credit packs are one-time purchases. Credits do not expire and never lose value while your account exists.
  • Credits are not money. They cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred to another person, or refunded once spent.
  • If a creation fails for a reason on our side, the credit is returned automatically. A creation that succeeds spends its credit, whether or not you like the result.

4. Subscriptions

Souvenly Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold through Apple.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
  • The subscription renews automatically at the same price unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Each billing period grants credits to your balance. Unused credits carry over and are never taken away, including after you cancel.
  • Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the period already paid for.

All purchases are handled by Apple, under Apple’s terms. Refunds are Apple’s to give, not ours — request one through Apple.

5. What you may upload

You may only upload a photo you have the right to use. Do not upload:

  • photographs of other people who have not agreed to it;
  • images you do not hold the rights to, including logos, posters, album art, and characters that belong to someone else;
  • sexual content, content involving minors, or anything illegal where you are.

Our provider refuses some images automatically, and when that happens your credit is returned. That refusal is not a judgement, and its absence is not permission: the rules above still apply.

6. Who owns what

Your photograph stays yours. We claim no ownership of it, and it is deleted within seconds of the artwork being produced.

The artwork Souvenly makes for you is yours to keep, print, post and sell. We ask for nothing in return and place no watermark on it.

The app itself — its name, its design, its artwork, its code — belongs to Souvenly. Using the app does not give you a licence to any of that beyond using the app as intended.

7. Fair use of the service

Do not attempt to script the app, work around the credit system, resell access, or overload the service. We may suspend or close an account that does, and unused credits on a closed account are forfeited.

8. Availability

Souvenly depends on services we do not control, and it can be unavailable, slow, or changed without notice. Styles may be added or withdrawn. We do not promise the app will be available at any particular moment, and we do not promise to keep your artwork indefinitely: artwork is deleted thirty days after it is made unless you have signed in, in which case it is kept for your account until you delete it.

Keep your own copy of anything you care about. The app can save a keepsake to your photo library, and that copy is yours regardless of what happens to us.

9. No warranty

Souvenly is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind, to the fullest extent the law where you live allows. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any result will meet your expectations.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Souvenly is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost data, or for lost profit. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here limits rights you have that cannot be limited by agreement, including consumer rights in your own country.

11. Ending it

You can stop using Souvenly at any time. Deleting the app removes it from your phone; Settings → Delete account removes your account and everything stored against it. We may end this agreement if you breach these terms.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page changes when we do, and a material change is announced in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the app after that means accepting the new terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of Istanbul have jurisdiction — except where the law of your own country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim there.

14. Apple

Apple is not a party to this agreement and has no obligation to provide support for Souvenly. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms and may enforce them against you.
